ESR 11 - Ph.D Fellow
Project Description
My part of the project is focused on the electrochemical investigation and characterization of the (enzyme -) modified sensors under homeostatic conditions and in physiological fluids by using a flow set-up. The Future work will include determining all required sensor parameters, stability tests, and biocompatibility studies of the implant.
Goal at the end of the ITN project
I want to create and establish new sensor concepts that will be tested in human physiological fluids to be closer to the actual future sensor environment and, therefore, improve their reliability.
My background
Interdisciplinary biomedical scientist – connecting biosensing with biology.
During my bachelor’s and master’s I have gained experience in electrochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, and cell culture.
"Success is the sum of all small efforts, repeated day-in and day-out."
